The fact of the matter is that I am essentially a very private person, so I have never had a blog or a bio or anything on the web before. However, needs must and all that, now that I am a published person. Gotta promote the book, ya know?
When I was much younger I read something somewhere that defined a "Saint" as someone who was willing to stand up there and let the people look. I once thought that was a great way to look at it. And of course, I didn't make the cut. :)
But... considering what's been on view in the past few decades I'm not so sure I agree any longer. On the other hand, it's always necessary to try to ascertain what the speaker really meant rather than just to lay on your own version. (That's how wars get started.)
What I want to do here is give those of you who might be interested access to some of my otherwise unpublished thoughts, snippets I didn't put in the book, pre-tastes of the next one, random offerings of what I consider good advice (people tell me it often is), and such like. Be advised that my opinion is based strictly on my opinion, and you can't go wrong. So I will close by saying that this blog is not a bid for sainthood, but I really hope I'm not a flasher, either.
